At Pack 909, Cub Scouting is all about adventure, learning, and fun. Scouts participate in a variety of activities throughout the year, including grade-level den meetings and full pack events that build skills, confidence, and friendships. Some of our favorite spots include Towne Lake Park, Camp Wisdom, Camp James Ray, Erwin Park, and more.

Our program features outdoor experiences like fall and spring campouts, Cub Adventure Camp, Cub Fun Day, and bottle rocket launches, along with signature events such as the Pinewood Derby and Blue and Gold Banquet. Scouts also take part in flag ceremonies, service projects, and community events like Veterans Day and McKinney's Red, White and Boom 4th of July parade!
